Praying Together at St Bridget's
At our school we say prayers together three times a day, firstly during assembly (Collective Worship), which could be with our class, Key Stage or whole school, secondly at lunch time and finally with our class before we go home at the end of the day.
Lunch time Prayer
For what we are about to receive
May the Lord make us truly thankful.
We close our eyes and say
Thank you God for Nursery today
Class 1 Prayer
We fold our hands and softly say
Thank you for our lovely day
Class 2 Prayer
Lord keep us safe this night
Secure from all our fears
May angels guard us while we sleep
'Til morning light appears
Class 3 Prayer
At the end of the day
we put our hands together and say
Thank you Lord
for a lovely day
Class 4 Prayer
Let no one steal your dreams
Let no one tear apart
the burning of ambition
that fires the drive within your heart
‘We live to learn, laugh and play and enjoy every single day’
