Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 and Key stage 2 Results
for academic year 2018/19
Once again we are extremely proud of our children at St Bridget’s for how hard they work and for how they grow both academically and socially into successful learners ready for their next stage of development.
During the last couple of years many changes were made to assessment and expectations were and continue to be extremely high. At St Bridget’s we are continuously improving our professional development of teachers and reviewing our curriculum to ensure we provide your children with the very best education to reach their full potential.
Many of our improvements have been in maths and they have taken time to develop, our results in EYFS and KS1 are proof that these changes have made an impact.
The results below are only for the Reading, Writing and Mathematical areas of our wide and varied curriculum. In Key Stage 1 results are based on tests and finalised by Teacher assessments. In Key stage 2 results are based on one test in the summer term, except for writing which is based on teacher assessments and moderated by the local authority.
