Who are we and what do we do?
St Bridget’s Kid’s Club was originally formed in 1999 to offer parents and carers in Brigham and the surrounding area an Out of School Care facility for their children at an affordable price.
Since we started we have built up a regular membership and now offer up to 24 places daily for children age 4 to 11 years. In addition to this, we have full wrap around care with Acorns Nursery (children can come to Acorns from the term before they are 3 years old 1pm. until 3 p.m. and Breakfast Club (which is available to the children once they start our school nursery class at 3 years of age).
Acorns works closely with St Bridget's Primary School morning nursery providing consistent care to your children. The children benefit from being in the same room as the morning nursery, same staff (including qualified teacher) and same children, making them feel safe and secure. This also means they follow Development Matters taught in the mornings through into the afternoon with a wider range of opportunities and activities.
St Bridget’s Kids Club and Breakfast Club are offer high quality provision, which allows a safe place for our children to play, relax and enjoy themselves. There is always quiet space if children want to do homework, read or simply chill out!
All staff have fully trained, hold a DBS certificate for working with children and receive up to date Continuous and Professional Development including Child protection, FGM, Prevent, Early Help and Pediatric First Aid.
If you would like more information please scroll down for our brochure and other relevant documents.
Kids' Club is run by a committee of volunteers who have an overview of the three clubs.
