Sports Relief 11.3.2020

For Sports Relief, the whole school took part in skipping workshops throughout the day. We were taught the basic skills and then some tricks too. At the end of the day we had a whole school assembly to demonstrate our skills!

Class 1 and Acorns enjoy their skipping workshop for Sport Relief

Our Nursery, Reception and Key stage 1 class have enjoyed cricket sessions with Cricket Chris. We have enjoyed our weekly sessions on a Thursday morning as well as an after school club that night - thanks Chris our skills are coming on a treat.

Our Early Years classes have been enjoying football coaching with Ccnnor. We have learnt lots of skills and had so much fun too.

Class 3 Tennis with Rob 19/11/19

Multi skills with Rob Jefferson - both Early Years classes and class 2 enjoyed a weekly work out with Rob. The children learnt to throw and catch with accuracy, to balance and travel and to play various games in a team.

Netball High 5 Competition Thursday 17^th October 2019

This week the High Five Netball tournament had even more teams entered! It was better netball weather with more sunshine and it appeared that all involved were enjoying themselves!

The results of the tournament are below. Congratulations to Brigham on winning the tournament and once again, thank you all for your commitment to the event.

High 5 Netball Competition 10.10.2019

On a showery afternoon on Thursday 10th October, seven of our netball club went to Cockermouth School to take part in a High 5 Tournament. The team played brilliantly encouraged by Mrs Winder and some of the team's parents and grandparents. In the end we finished fourth overall - many congratulations to the whole team.

It was great to watch some of the games and see some familiar faces even on a wet and windy afternoon. A number of students showed excellent rules knowledge and a wonderful supportive attitude towards each other, which was lovely to see.

Dance performance for the parents

To celebrate and show case what our Early Years and Key Stage 1 classes have been enjoying we held a performance for our parents and families. The children learnt so much but most of all they had so much fun. Thank you Miss Zoe - see you after Easter.
