Painting our understanding of the Christian festival of Candlemass. We talked lots about this festival linked to the first time Mary and Joseph took their baby Jesus to the temple. At the temple both Mary and Joseph were blessed. Today Christians have their candles blessed in church and many homes have a candle burning in their windows.
